No, they should not, in my opinion. And I believe Gaile and Alex have both said that won't happen. The only valid exception I see is when they changed the number of switches some time ago, but then ANet already helped thos folks on a case-by-case basis. There is too much possibility for abuse for personal gain.

They should do it so you get a chance to switch every 3 months or so. When I first got the game I used up all my switches, and now I really regret it.

The big reason they decided to limit how many times you can switch servers is to keep farmers from making too much gold. And it was causing problems with the servers that had favor in overloading with "Favor Hunters". I think it should stay the way it is, or if tehy change it, they should make it so that once you choose a region you are stuck their permenantly.

if they do that then she must give us 1 last switch, that way we can decide to stay or not...

like i said it is for my personally gain atm lol...but it will also help oither players who knew nothing when they first bought the game and used them all up.

and like you said there will me farmers that is why is aid 1 switch for every game you buy not including the 3 you get from the first.

from example...you buy prophocies..you get 3 switchs, then you go out and buy factions and add it and now you have 4 switches....then NF now you have 5.

you can not add mroe then 1 account of any type to an existing account so there will be your limit to those favor farmers

Now that you explained it in more detail I will Sign for it. I was unsure of exactly what you were wanting, but adding a switch for each added campaign would be nice. On a side note let the player know that when they have only one server switch left it will be permenant, and they will be stuck at the next server they go to. As it is when you use up your last switch you do not know about it until you are stuck in a server that you do not want to be in (an American in a Korean server for example where the american cannot speak any Korean at all).

I want 1 more switch that way I can go back to my "home" server. Like many others I kinda abused by switches when I was new to the game.

Why would you switch servers in the first place?

The only reason is for farming and UW/FoW access. For everything else, there's international districts.

When you switch, it states in big bold letters, you have x/5 changes remaining. It doesn't get any clearer than that. And since there never was any advantage to switching servers (legitimate advantage that is), there's no reason to simply add more to those who used them.

You can ask support to swap you back, if you were one of those people that got in early enough to have 5 switches and ended up on a non-home server with no switches left.

Personally I think they should move everyone back to threir home servers and leave them there. They made ID for a reason. Kind of defeats hoh if half the players are not playing from their actual home districts.

Amen to that!! Personally, I think that's the problem with the favor wars now. All the PvP Americans went over to Europe.

There would need to be some type of system for folks that move in real life and want to switch servers. It would be rare of course. I'm should there is some way for Anet to detect where you are physically logging in from (maybe not your exact street address, but I'm sure they can narrow it down to which continent). When they detect a "European" player logging in from America they can pop up an option to change servers and leave the option available for 6 months just in case the European wants to still play with European friends for a while until he meets American players.

Very true

If you want Favor, fight for it.

Ah yes, High-End PvE should be accessable through PvP only, that makes sense...

Oh wait.

Nobody said it was going to be easy.

It's a core high end PvE. If you need a fix, there is SF,Urgoz/Deep and GoA.

Why should he not be able to go there when you can pvp any of those maps? And how exactly is that going to give you your "fix" by going to a completely different place?
Yes it is core, and all the other places you mentioned aren't.

On topic, no you shouldn't have more chances. I really don't see then need to switch that many times. Though I don't think it's such a bad idea to give you one or two extras when you add more keys to an existing account.
